The Electoral Office says the issue of duplicate entries on confirmation list is not an error of the Office

The Electoral Office of Dominica is assuring the public that the issue regarding duplicate entries appearing on the confirmation list is not the result of any error or action by the Electoral Office.

Responding to concerns raised by the public on this issue, the Electoral Office states that the matter has been brought to the attention of the contractor who was responsible for the development of the relevant software.

In a press release, the Electoral Office says the contractor is currently investigating the issue and is working to resolve it.

The release further adds that the Electoral Office is monitoring the situation closely and will provide a further update to the public once the matter has been fully resolved.

The Electoral Office says it acknowledges the seriousness of this concern and remains committed to ensuring that all electoral processes are carried out in a manner which is fair, transparent and in accordance with relevant legislation.
