Dominica’s First Female Prime Minister to appear on the new 2O dollar ECCB banknote

Former Prime Minister Dame Mary Eugenia Charles has been selected by Dominica to appear on the 2O dollar banknote, as the ECCB  unveiled a family of new durable banknotes in denominations of 5, 1O, 2O, 50 and 1OO dollars, in Dominica on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

The late Dame Mary Eugenia Charles was among the persons in the OECS selected to appear on the banknotes in honour of their sterling contributions to the sub-grouping.
