Dominica’s Ambassador to Cuba Describes the 2026/27 National Budget as “well-crafted”

Dominica’s Ambassador to Cuba, His Excellency Ian Douglas, has described the 2026/2027 national budget as a well-crafted package aimed at shielding citizens from the effects of ongoing global economic challenges, including international conflicts, rising oil prices and economic uncertainty.

Speaking after Finance Minister Dr. Irving McIntyre presented the budget, Douglas said the government’s tax cuts and concessions demonstrate its commitment to easing the burden on the Dominican people.
