Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has pledged an initial amount of US $500,000 to support Venezuela’s disaster response efforts following the devastating earthquakes that struck the country.
A twin earthquake hit Venezuela on June 24, leaving thousands of families in distress and resulting in thousands of fatalities.
The Prime Minister made this statement during a press conference this morning.
