Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced that the government will provide a subsidy to offset the rising fuel taxes caused by the increasing global gas prices.
Mr Skerrit told a press conference earlier today that this measure will take effect by the end of May.

Meantime, Mr Skerrit states that, despite the financial burden these subsidies impose on government revenue, the government will conduct monthly reviews of fuel prices.
