The world-renowned Travel and Leisure magazine has ranked Dominica the number one destination in the Caribbean.
Dominica has also been named in the top 1O island destinations worldwide.
Minister for Tourism Denise Charles Pemberton says the accolade came as a result of increased investment in the sector over the years.
