The Bagatelle Primary and Soufriere Primary schools to benefit from newly launched EU-funded “Cultivating Futures” project
The Bagatelle Primary and Soufriere Primary schools have been named beneficiaries of the EU-funded “Cultivating Futures” project.
The project is a comprehensive four-year food security initiative targeting six countries within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
Director of Agriculture Keian Stephenson says the project aligns with Dominica’s long-term agricultural goal and will strengthen local food systems.
The national rollout will be led by the 4H program, with Bert Paul serving as National Coordinator and facilitator.

Meantime, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Zero Hunger Trust Fund (ZHTF) Safiya Horne-Bique says the project aims to tackle regional food system challenges by empowering youths and increasing food security.

The three other countries which will benefit from this project are St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.
