Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced a by-election in the Roseau North constituency set for September 7, 2026.
Skerrit made the announcement during a national address on Sunday, August 09th, confirming the date for voters in the constituency to elect a new representative.
Meanwhile, United Workers Party (UWP) Leader Dr. Thompson Fontaine has welcomed the date set for the Roseau North by-election. Fontaine says his party is prepared for the electoral contest and will announce its plans as the campaign gets underway.
