Dominica records 21 percent increase in cruise passengers for the 2025/2026 cruise season

Tourism Minister Denise Charles Pemberton has announced a 21 percent increase in cruise passengers for the 2025/2026 cruise season.

She shared this information during the opening ceremony of the 2026 cruise stakeholders symposium held this morning at the Goodwill Parish Hall.

Pemberton also noted that Dominica experienced an 8 percent increase in vessel calls compared to last season.

Meantime, the Tourism Minister says the success of the island’s tourism sector should be assessed based on its impact on average Dominican families.
