CARICOM Youth Farmer of the Year, 27-year old Kevorn Vidal of Salisbury, has received an incentive of US $2,500 dollars from the Inter American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, IICA.

The cheque was presented to Vidal during a ceremony at the office of IICA on Friday morning.

Meantime, Vidal said the Caribbean Youth Award will serve as inspiration to his agricultural career.

He received the regional award during the Caribbean Week of Agriculture in St Vincent last week.
