Belles Combo Played Major Role in Shaping Dominica’s Cultural Landscape, Cultural Expert Say

An expert in tourism and cultural industries, Sobers Esprit, says the legendary Belles Combo played a significant role in shaping Dominica’s cultural landscape and influencing the island’s musical heritage.

Esprit made the observation as preparations continue for a major fundraising event aimed at supporting former members of the iconic musical group.

Esprit, who is also one of the organizers of the fundraising event, says Belles Combo’s contribution to Dominica’s cultural development should not be overlooked.

The fundraising event is scheduled for October 3 at Zaman Park in Belfast, Mahaut.

Organisers are encouraging the public to support the initiative, which seeks to assist former members of Belles Combo while recognising the group’s contribution to Dominica’s musical and cultural heritage.
