PM Skerrit Confirms Arrival of First Third-Country Nationals from the United States to Dominica

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has confirmed that Dominica received its first third-country nationals from the United States under the newly signed agreement.

Dominica signed a non-binding agreement in January 2026 with the United States to accept a limited quota of vetted third-country nationals.

Mr Skerrit revealed during a press conference this morning that these 5 individuals have already been repatriated to their home country, Colombia.

Mr Skerrit says that under the existing agreement, Dominica will receive a certain number of third-country nationals every quarter.
