A leading official of the FAO raises concerns over the level of food imports to the Caribbean

A leading official of the Food and Agriculture Organisation says the level of food imports to the Caribbean is cause for concern.

Dr Reneta Clarke, sub-regional coordinator of the Food and Agriculture Organisation, says the Caribbean needs to build food security.

Dr Clarke was here to develop a road map for the agricultural sector for the next five years.
