Health Minister Cassanni Laville says healthcare remains free for all Dominicans 18 years and under and 60 years and over.
He gave clarity to a recent document circulating in the public domain, which implies that effective immediately, patients who qualify for a government waiver, specifically those under 18 and over 60, will be required to pay a contribution fee of 25%.
Minister Laville made this statement to the media this morning.
