Leader of the United Workers Party, Dr Thompson Fontaine, says a court matter filed by his party, challenging Dominica’s Riot Act, returns to the court in September.
Dr Fontaine says the challenge to the riot act came after 25 people, including himself, were charged under the riot act, for protest action they staged in march 2O25 outside Fort Young Hotel.
The protest action was against three electoral reform bills, which were being passed in Parliament.
Police and protesters clashed on the day.
