Miss Dominica Tanisha Balson says she is upbeat ahead of the Miss OECS pageant at Windsor Park stadium on Friday evening.
She is among five competitors vying for the prestigious title.
She told a special program on DBS radio last night that the Miss OECS pageant is another opportunity to improve herself.
The reigning MISS Dominica will be the fourth competitor on stage.

She says she entered the competition having participated in some pageants.
