The Government of Dominica is advancing several environmental and cultural initiatives aimed at protecting the island’s natural beauty and supporting the indigenous community.
That’s according to Environment Minister Cozier Frederick.
The minister announced plans to establish a dedicated Environmental Department to strengthen policy implementation, oversee land development projects, and address environmental issues nationwide.

Frederick also provided an update on the construction of a new emergency shelter within the Kalinago Territory, which is progressing steadily.
