Chairman of the Board of Directors of DBS Radio Dr. Damien Dublin has endorsed the DBS Independence Creole Speech Competition.

The inaugural competition took place at Alliance Française on Friday and was won by St Martin Secondary School student Roodnaline Desimond, with Pierre Charles secondary student Shanika Alexander second and Lydia Charles of Dominica Grammar School third.

The DBS Independence Creole Speech Competition was organized by the Language Department of DBS Radio.
