Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Valley, Dr. Irving McIntyre, says the series of major capital projects underway in his constituency are already creating significant economic benefits and are poised to transform not just the Roseau Valley, but the entire country.

Responding to questions about the impact of developments such as the construction of a hotel in the Roseau Valley, the cable car project, and the geothermal power plant project, Dr. McIntyre said employment in the area has already increased noticeably as construction progresses.

He described the projects as “significant” drivers of income for families and a boost to local economic activity.
