The Thibaud primary school, under construction, is to be named after former Parliamentary Representative Vernice Bellony.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit made the announcement in Parliament on Tuesday while debating supplementary estimates of $1O8.5 million dollars.

Mrs. Bellony is a former teacher, Senator, and Cultural personality.
