Officials at the National Parks Division say one of the major challenges being faced is that of returning Dominicans not wanting to pay the fee for visiting national parks and sites.
Forester One at the National Parks Division Lester Roberts says any Dominican national who have resided abroad for six months and longer, are required by law to pay fees upon visiting the sites.
Roberts spoke of the challenges on the Ministry of Environment Program on DBS Radio on Thursday.
Roberts is urging returning Dominicans to work with the National Parks Division for the betterment of the country.
