DOWASCO Carrying Out Emergency Repairs on Damaged Main Supply Line on Independent Street

The Dominica Water and Sewerage Company (DOWASCO) is carrying out emergency repairs on a damaged main supply line on Independent Street in Roseau, resulting in water interruptions in the city and several communities to the south.

DOWASCO Public Relations Officer Kimani St Jean said the extent of the damage was still being assessed, making it difficult for the company to determine when normal water service would be restored.

The company has not provided an estimated restoration time but says it will issue further updates as more information becomes available.
