Dominica Athletics Association Announces Strategic Partnership with Niagara Water

The Dominica Athletics Association has entered into a new partnership with Niagara Water, which is distributed locally by J. Astaphans & Co. Ltd., in a move aimed at boosting athlete support and furthering the development of athletics in Dominica.

Under this partnership, Niagara Water will supply its premium bottled water to support the hydration needs of athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers across the DAA’s full calendar of events. Additionally, this collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to athlete performance, welfare, and development.

Each year, the DAA hosts approximately 15 national events, including road races, track and field meets, Kids’ Athletics programs, and developmental workshops. With hydration being a critical component of athlete performance and safety, Niagara Water’s support will play a vital role in ensuring athletes can compete, train, and develop under optimal conditions.

The partnership builds on the DAA’s growing legacy of producing world-class athletes, including Olympic and World Indoor Champion Thea LaFond, CARIFTA Games gold medallist Addison James, and Pan American Junior Games champion Treneese Hamilton. By supporting hydration at every level of competition, Niagara Water is directly contributing to the foundation that nurtures current talent and inspires the next generation of Dominican athletes.
