Dominica’s Carnival, Mas Domnik, The Real Mas, officially opens later this afternoon with the Official Opening and National Parade, marking the formal start of the Mas Domnik 2026 celebrations.
The opening ceremony begins at 2:30 at Pottersville.
Coordinator of the road parade committee is Charlene White Christian.
Christian explained that there’s a twist to this year’s parade.
She said the parade will end at the Bay Front on Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard.
