The Department of Social Services have launched an Emergency Food Pantry in Dominica.
Director of Social Services, Dr. Tesha Cuffy-Casimir says the Pantry stands as a symbol of the department’s shared commitment in caring for one another as it represents more than shelves filled with food.
Dr. Cuffy-Casimir highlighted the eligibility criteria for the pantry.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services, Dr. Cassandra Williams says the food pantry complements the Health Ministry’s broader strategy to strengthen social protection systems and expand support to the most vulnerable.
