Dominica’s public health response has been strengthened through the expansion of Rapid HIV and Syphilis Testing services.
Healthcare professionals from across the island recently participated in specialised training designed to equip them with the knowledge and practical skills required to conduct rapid testing efficiently.
Senior Public Health Nurse with the National HIV/AIDS Response Programme, Fiona Harris-Glenville, says this initiative represents an important step towards improving access to early detection, timely treatment, and continued public education surrounding HIV and Syphilis.
