Dominica’s Prime Minister announces income support for farmers and small business owners affected by the April trough system

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced income support for farmers and small business owners in the Kalinago Territory and surrounding areas affected by a trough system in late April.

The trough system lashed the north-east and eastern communities, causing widespread disruption.

Mr Skerrit says the Government response was prompt and has reached affected individuals.
