Member of Parliament for the Marigot Constituency, Anthony Charles, has thrown his support behind landowners’ decision to permit developers of the international airport to mine aggregate at Craupo Haul and Deux Branches.

While acknowledging the concerns raised by environmentalists, Charles emphasised his commitment to progress for the country.

He believes that the construction of the international airport holds significant potential for both Marigot and Dominica as a whole.
