Wesley High School is the new champions of the Inter-Secondary Schools Debating Competition
A new debate champion has been crowned.
Wesley High School, making it to the finals for the first time, triumphed over the Dominica Grammar School to win the 2026 Inter-Secondary Schools Debating Competition.
The finals took place this morning at the Truth & Grace Fellowship Global.
The debate topic was: “Dominica should amend its Sexual Offenses Act to allow for the limited publication of the identities of accused sexual offenders in the public interest.”
Aephzibah Ademola of the Wesley High School received the award for best rebuttal While Niola Alleyne got the award for best speaker.

Meantime, Lydia Charles and Micaela Benjamin represented the Dominica Grammar School.
