Government unveils new initiatives to protect women, children and the family

Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Dr Cassandra Williams, has highlighted new initiatives in Dominica to protect women, children, and the family.

She made the statement at a Department of Social Services dialogue at the Fort Young Hotel this morning on Mobilising resources for gender-responsive community development.

In the meantime, Director of Social Services Dr Tesha Cuffy-Casimir says today’s stakeholder dialogue on mobilising resources for Gender-Responsive Community Development is timely.
