The Government of Dominica has published an expression of interest inviting the private sector to partner with the Government to manage and operate the national abattoir.

Minister for Agriculture ROLAND Royer made the announcement this morning, as he led a tour to the 6.4-million-dollar facility in Layou Valley.

Mr Royer says the abattoir due to be commissioned in April this year, will help reduce Dominica’s food import bill.
