Dominica recorded three road fatalities over the weekend in two separate traffic accidents, according to police reports.
On Saturday evening, 62-year-old Victor Jno Baptiste of Morne Rachette succumbed to injuries sustained after the Suzuki Escudo in which he was traveling overturned in the vicinity of Coulibistrie, Gell Leon area.
Police said the vehicle was traveling in a southerly direction at the time of the incident. Jno Baptiste was transported to the St. Joseph Health Centre, where he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Roshane Bent, a Jamaican national residing in Massacre, was operating a motorcycle with Christian Green, a female resident of New York, as the pillion rider.

The motorcycle was involved in a collision with three other vehicles near Lynhurst Funeral Home along the Edward Oliver LeBlanc Highway.
Police said the crash occurred when the vehicles traveling along the roadway collided. Both Bent and Green sustained fatal injuries and later succumbed.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
