9 charitable organizations in Dominica presented with monetary donations from the President’s Charities Foundation

9 charitable organizations in Dominica were today presented with monetary donations amounting to $24, 000 dollars from the President’s Charities Foundation.

In total 15 charitable organizations will receive funds, with the remaining 6 to be presented at a later date.

A cheque ceremony was held at the State House Conference Centre this morning.

They beneficiaries today were the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities, St Jerome’s Ministry, Dominica Council on Ageing, Reach, House of Hope, Our Lady of Fair Haven Conference of St Vincent De Paul Society (Roseau Branch), National Society of St Vincent De Paul Society (Northern Branch), the Social Center towards the St Ann’s Day Nursery, Northern District Home for the Aged Inc. and Care for the Poor.
