The Dominica Red Cross Society has expanded its outreach to the Castle Bruce community to enhance the island’s emergency response capacity.
Recently, ten residents from Castle Bruce participated in a training program focused on promoting disaster risk reduction and implementing early warning initiatives.
Sharon Charter Rolle, the Director General of the Dominica Red Cross Society, emphasized the importance of these initiatives.
This training was done to facilitate the establishment of a Community Disaster Response Team in that area.
