Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit expresses optimism that the international airport will be completed by the end of 2027
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has confirmed that the international airport project will be delivered to the Government towards the end of 2O27.
He told a town hall meeting of Roseau South over the weekend that Dominica should be proud that, after many years of discussing the possibility of building an international airport, the dream is becoming a reality.

Meanwhile, the chief executive officer of the international airport Development company, Samuel Johnson, says the various buildings under construction on the airport site and plans for the runway have all lived up to expectations.

Mr Johnson explained the movement of heavy equipment at Deux Branches last week, although a stop order for works in the area was issued by planning in December 2O25.
