Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced that an agreement has been reached with the Tipper Truckers Association for the transportation of cement from Woodbridge Bay Port to the International Airport Development Site.
The agreement was reached while the truckers staged protest action at Canefield on Wednesday.
Mr. Skerrit on Wednesday said the rates negotiated with the truckers are better than previous offers.

Meantime, Treasurer of the Dominica Tipper Truckers Association Anton Laville says new rates were agreed when the Truckers met Prime Minisrer Roosevelt Skerrit on Wednesday.
