Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore has announced the appointment of Lincoln Corbette as Acting Police Chief, with Jeffrey James as Acting Deputy Police Chief.

Their appointment is for a six-month period, and it became necessary as Acting Police Chief Davidson Valerie proceeds on preretirement leave.

Mr. Blackmoore says another major appointment will be announced soon.
