Minister for Health Cassani Laville says good oral health is instrumental towards having good mental health.

Dominica is today joining in the observance of World Oral Health Day 2025 under the theme “a Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind”.

Laville says it requires a collective effort to ensure good oral health.

The Dental Unit of the Ministry of Health will host a week of activities to commemorate World Oral Health Day.

Among the activities are Oral Health Education Sessions at a number of Primary Schools, National Fruit Day and a sidewalk exhibition outside of Jollys Pharmacy.
