Dominican women fire officers are now better equipped to work in the Fire and Ambulance department following a regional training which took place in St. Lucia.
The IFECASA (Institution of Fire Engineers, Caribbean and South America) Women in Service Retreat 2026 was recently held in Saint Lucia from March 2–8.
The regional event brought together women from fire, police, and emergency services for professional development, leadership training, and cross-sector collaboration focused on empowering women in service.
