Dominica to Add New Ambulances and Firetrucks to Emergency Fleet in 2026

The Government of Dominica is moving ahead with the procurement of two additional ambulances for the Fire and Ambulance Services.

The announcement was made by Minister for National Security, Rayburn Blackmoore, who confirmed that the new ambulances are expected to arrive on island in the first part of 2026.

Blackmoore also revealed that two additional firetrucks will be shipped to Dominica in the coming days, further strengthening the nation’s emergency response capacity.
