Dominica has appointed new CARICOM Youth Ambassadors for the 2025–2027 term, following a successful national selection process led by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sports and Community Development, through its Youth Development Division.
The newly selected ambassadors will serve for a two-year term, effective from August 1st, 2025, to July 31st, 2027.
The four young leaders chosen to represent Dominica at both the national and regional levels are:
Ms. Abigail B. N. Christmas – CARICOM Youth Ambassador (Female)
Mr. Eamon Clifford Gibbons – CARICOM Youth Ambassador (Male)
Mr. Jonathan Eddison Lewis Jones – Alternate CARICOM Youth Ambassador (Male)
Ms. Angel S. Joseph – Alternate CARICOM Youth Ambassador (Female)
Ten (10) candidates were shortlisted and invited to participate in the interview phase, which was conducted in September 2025
