Conservationist Atherton Martin and two others have lost a court battle against the Attorney General and Chief of Police.
Martin, Loftus Durand and James Daisy went to court against the Attorney General and Chief of Police after a 2018 meeting of Concerned Citizens Movement which took place on Castle Street in Roseau.
Police were forced to intervene to bring the gathering to an end.

Lawrence says Justice Colin Williams found that the meeting of Concerned Citizens Movement was a Public Procession under the Public Order Act and did require a permit from the Police Chief.

Martin, Loftus Durand and James Daisy are to pay cost to the claimant of over $3,000 dollars each.
