Businessman Kenny Green endorses Dominica’s CBI program

Businessman Kenny Green has endorsed Dominica’s CBI program, stating that the program brought major relief to the country in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2O17.

He says, however, the CBI programs in the Caribbean are being challenged as the European Commission has called for their end by 2O28. 

Green’s comments came on a special program on DBS this week titled  CBI THEN, NOW, THE FUTURE, A LOOK AT THE INDUSTRY.

Mr Green says CBI-operating countries like Dominica will have to decide whether they shut down their programs by 2O28 as requested by the European Commission.

He says, however, major CBI-funded projects in Dominica are due for completion soon.
