President-elect of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, Gregor Nassief, has emphasised the need for increased efforts to boost demand for Dominica as a destination, making it more profitable for airlines.
His remarks come following the withdrawal of Caribbean Airlines from several Caribbean countries, including Dominica.

Nassief reiterated the importance of viewing the Caribbean as a single destination, which would facilitate easier intra-regional travel.
