Director of the Met Service says first tropical wave expected to pass south of Dominica will have no direct impact on the island

Dominicans are being advised that the first tropical wave, which is expected to pass south of Dominica, will not have a direct impact on the island.
As of today, May 5, this tropical wave has moved off the coast of Africa; however, it is not anticipated to develop into a tropical cyclone in the immediate future.
Director of the Met Service Marshal Alexander made this statement on the Disaster and You programme on DBS Radio this morning.
