A Dominican animated film will be featured for the first time at the Annecy Film Festival in France

A Dominican animated film has been selected to be featured for the first time at the Annecy Film Festival in France.
The film, titled “Equity in the Workplace: The Experience of Black Irish Women in Academia and the Teaching Profession,” was created by Sandra Vivas, a member of the WAITUKUBULI ARTISTS ASSOCIATION.
It is one of 66 films selected in the TV and Commissioned Films category and is the only film from the Caribbean region to be showcased at the festival.
Speaking with DBS NEWS, Sandra Vivas, who is from Venezuela but has been a citizen of Dominica since 2009, expressed that this achievement is significant for Dominica.
