Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced a series of measures to mitigate the effects of escalations in the Middle East on the local economy.

Recent international conflicts have led to an increase in global oil prices and disruptions in international trade.

Mr Skerrit made this announcement during a press conference this morning.
