Officer in Charge of the Dental Unit Dr. Bertina Louis has raised concerns over the high level of Dental Caries and Gum Diseases in Dominica.

Her comments as Dominica is this week observing Oral Health Week under the theme “A Happy Mouth is a happy life.”

Dr Louis encourages Dominicans to take advantage of the Dental Health Care Services that are being offered by the dental department.

Meantime, Louis says this year the dental department has placed more emphasis on dental education with the activities it has planned for the observance.
