Government Considering Agro-Processing Facility for Beekeepers and Pepper Sauce Producers

Beekeepers and pepper sauce producers have been informed that Government is actively considering the construction of a dedicated agro-processing facility to support and expand their operations.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit made the announcement during a meeting with stakeholders from both sectors earlier this week, signaling Government’s intention to strengthen value-added production within Dominica’s agricultural industry.

The proposed facility is expected to provide improved processing, packaging and storage capabilities, enabling producers to meet higher standards for local consumption and export markets.
