Foreign Affairs Ministry Dismisses Social Media Claims as Unfounded

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected what it describes as false and unsubstantiated claims circulating on social media concerning a United States national currently on remand at the Dominica State Prison.

In a statement, the Ministry said it does not usually respond to rumours or baseless commentary, but noted that the allegations, described as malicious and being promoted by the opposition, warranted clarification in the public interest.
